The purpose of the Adult Basic Education program is to help adults improve their reading, writing, math, technology, and communication skills in order to pass the HiSET® test. Classes are designed for adults to learn at their own pace, guided by classroom teachers who are trained to teach adults and support students on their learning path.
Registration for HiSET preparation classes is closed.

How to Register
Step 1: Click here to register for classes. If you cannot complete the online form, call or text the Adult Education Counselor (Bill) at 603-288-7526 for help.
HiSET registration is now closed for the remainder of the school year. Our next open enrollment will be for our Summer 2024 classes. Please visit our website periodically for any enrollment updates.
Step 2: You will be contacted by a staff member to complete the registration process. Depending on the time of year, this may take up to 1 week.
Step 3: You will take a placement test in math and reading. This helps us to understand your current level and place you in the best class. Your current level, in combination with how hard you study, will help indicate how long your preparation for the HiSET tests will take. We understand it can sometimes take a long time, but we will always be here to support you.
Step 4: You will receive your class placement information after you complete the test.
Step 5: Your teacher will contact you during the week prior to your class start date.
