Community Education

The Adult Learning Center offers courses to enrich and expand knowledge and opportunities for our students and the general community.

Community Education classes will start in September. For the 2021-2022 school year, we will offer online and in-person classes for citizenship preparation and basic computer skills.

Who We Serve

We serve adults age 18 or older. All students are required to live within 25 miles of Nashua, NH.

To be eligible for US Citizenship preparation class, students must have an intermediate level of English.

What We Offer

The US Citizenship Preparation class prepares students for the US citizenship application, test and interview.

The NorthStar Digital Literacy classes for certification teach students the basic computer skills they need to be successful in today’s world.

All classes are free for current students. There may be a small fee for non-students.

How to Register

Step 1:  Community Education classes will begin in October.  Registration will begin for Community Education Classes on September 27.

Step 2: You will be contacted by a staff member to complete the registration process. If you are not a current student, this will include a speaking and reading test so we can make sure your level is appropriate for the class.

Step 3: You will receive your teacher’s contact information and access to the online class.
