The Adult Learning Center offers courses to enrich and expand knowledge and opportunities for our students and the general community.
For the 2022-2023 school year, we offer classes for citizenship preparation and basic computer skills.

Who We Serve
We serve adults age 18 or older. All students are required to live or work in New Hampshire.
To be eligible for the classes, students must have an intermediate level of English.
*We do NOT provide any assistance with filling out the application or translation of the forms, etc.
What We Offer
Civics class
The Civics class prepares students for the US citizenship application, test and interview. The class will start on October 10th.

The NorthStar Digital Literacy Class
The NorthStar program teaches students basic computer skills needed to use a computer and internet in daily life. The Nashua Adult Learning Center is an approved NorthStar location.
- Computer Basic Class
Registration: August 1st – 31st (Registration is currently closed)
Class Start Date: September 18th
Time & Day: 6:30pm-8:30pm, Monday & Wednesday.

NH Work Ready Class
Build skills. Build Confidence. Build your career.

- Registration: May 15th to July 21st.
- Class Date: July 31st-August 17th. Mon-Thurs for 3 Weeks.
- Time: 9am-2pm

How to Register
Step 1: Fill out the online registration form (The registration link is on the top of this page). If you cannot complete the online form, call or text the Adult Education Counselor (Samba) at 603-689-3539 for help.
Step 2: You will be contacted by a staff member to complete the registration process. If you are not a current student, this will include a speaking and reading test so we can make sure your level is appropriate for the class.
Step 3: You will receive your teacher’s contact information and access to the online class.
