Welcome to the Adventure Club Program at Griffin Memorial School
Our before and after school programs meet in the cafeteria of Griffin Memorial Elementary School. Students are encouraged to participate in outdoor play each day. On bad weather days, play time is provided in the school gymnasium. We provide a nutritious and delicious breakfast to all participants at our morning program. During our afternoon program, all participants are provided with a nutritious snack.
We like to keep our students busy! Here are examples of our daily morning and afternoon schedules:
Morning Program
6:30 AM Morning program is open. Attendance is taken as participants arrive.
6:30 – 7:15 Games, arts, crafts and indoor activities.
7:15 – 7:45 Breakfast is served to all morning participants.
7:45 – 8:15 Outdoor activities, gym time, computer lab and board games.
8:15 – 8:20 Clean up and dismissal to student classes.
Afternoon Program
2:50 – 3:00 Students arrive and attendance is taken.
3:00 – 3:30 Snacks and drinks are provided to all program participants.
3:30 – 4:00 Outdoor activities and gym time.
4:00 – 4:15 Homework time, reading time and quiet time.
4:15 – 6:00 Special Activities, arts and crafts, clubs and creative time.
The program closes at 6:00 PM daily.
